Unit Learning Targets:
* I can write an equation of a line in slope-intercept form given two points. * I can write an equation of a line in slope-intercept form given a table. * I can construct a function to model a linear relationship between two quantities. * I can interpret the rate of change and initial value given a real world situation. Unit 5 Learning Targets: * I can find the slope of a line passing through two given points on a graph. * I can identify the four types of slope. * I can find the slope of a line using slope formula. Unit 4 Learning Targets: 1. I can identify and explain if a function is linear or nonlinear given a table. 2. I can identify and explain if a function is linear or nonlinear given an equation. 3. I can identify and explain if a function is linear or nonlinear given a graph. 4. I can graph a function by generating ordered pairs given a set of inputs. 5. I can draw a graph to represent a given situation. 6. I can write a story to represent a given real-world situation. Unit 3 Learning Targets: * I can continue a pattern. * I can compare two functions represented in different ways (graphically, algebraically, numerically in tables, or by verbal descriptions). Standards for Mathematical Practice: 1. Make sense of problems and persevere in solving them. 2. Reason abstractly and quantitatively. 3. Construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others. 4. Model with mathematics. 5. Use appropriate tools strategically. 6. Attend to precision. 7. Look for and make use of structure. 8. Look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning. |
